To speak with an American Express Concierge, dial 1-800-525-3355. Dial 954-473-2123 for international collect calls. There is no fee for using the concierge service. Any fees incurred as a result of your request will be charged to your Platinum Card. The concierge, in my experience, normally asks for a maximum amount based on what you’re attempting to accomplish.
Types of Amex Concierge requests
The majority of requests forwarded to the Platinum Concierge are for:
- Flowers
- Concert/show tickets
- Restaurant reservations
- Travel-related assistance
- Misc or unusual Amex Concierge requests
Is the concierge service worth the call?
People who are too busy to execute time-sensitive chores like making appointments, purchasing tickets, or researching events are those who benefit most from the concierge service provided to Amex Platinum cards. For these errands, relying on the nice people on the other end of the phone can help. Plus, if you’re courteous and gracious to a concierge who has been especially helpful, they may give you their extension so you may deal with them on a regular basis.
